TAPISA has obtained funds from the Center for the Technological Development of Industry –CDTI for the development of the Project “DEVELOPMENT OF A HIGHLY SUSTAINABLE PROCESS OF DYEING SPINNING WOOL”, cofounded by the European Fund for the Regional Development –FEDER, through the Multi-regional Operative Program of Smart Growth.

This Project, started in April 2015 and finished in September 2016, involves the use of natural pigments to develop a process of dyeing wool threads that can be applied to a new family of products with specific aesthetical and sustainable properties. In addition, the project entails the reuse of inter-process watery effluents in the process of dyeing wool threads in hanks form.

Therefore, TAPISA has developed a new family of ecological spinning –sustainable and with multi-functional properties that meet the standards of its market.
